Been awhile since I last posted

Things always seem to snowball for me - that's my power growing everyday, I imagine.

And by snowball, I use that phrase in the best of possible ways - in all honesty, "the better it gets, the better it gets" is the truest, most highest blessing in all the land.

I've been working on my "home blog" - as I call it - for some time yet - and finally, I think! - I'm really, really happy with the way it rolls off the page.

I keep adding and subtracting the businesses I work with (that's the beauty of it), and I'm really really happy with the group of people I'm now working with.

some say I should focus on just one type of opportunity - but that's like a major league baseball player only swinging for home runs - or worse just bunting al the time . Why not be a well-rounded hitter? Why not hit for power AND average AND rbi's??

And when a person depends upon only one income - like their job, for example - what happens when that one single source of wealth runs dry (or they get downsized or laid off or whatever). What happens then?

The way I see it, the more I can do , the better my chances to reach that $200,000 per month residual income goal I've amazingly set for myself. It's a really huge goal - and reachable by ANY ONE of the different companies - but aren't my chances improved by working many different areas at the same time?

and since I only work online - just advertising and talking about my "home blog" - it's just as easy to promote 50 different companies as it is to promote only 1.

So why the hell not??

Creating Money

Posted on Dec 9th, 2008 by The Doug : No need for titles - we're all ONE The Doug

Been reading a pretty book the past couple of days, thought I'd share it with the teeming millions of blog readers out there.

The book is about creating a life of abundance and is called "Creating Money", and it's a so-called channeled book , so obviously won't appeal to everyone in the world.

But the book is written by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer , and the book iteself is a really good manual for just about everything you could possibly hope to create in your life.

But like I said, the information is supposedly "channeled" by the authors from some group of "non-physical beings" - so that's a hefty pill to swallow, even for me.

But the information inside just feels right, you know? And it's not my first reading of it - i"ve been down this road several times already, so since I've grown alot (inside and outside) since my last reading, I've had tons of "a-ha!" moments where I have

remembered that I've been living these principles without really thinking about them, so I know they are working in my life.

Some of you have seen all this info elsewhere, and may even be better than this, but the book is just a really positive affirmation that we all - EVERYONE - can create anything we want.

This economy is perfect!

Posted on Dec 5th, 2008 by The Doug : No need for titles - we're all ONE The Doug

Have you noticed everyone losing their jobs?

and everyone moaning and wailing about not having enough money, things too expensive, too little paycheck, blah blah blah

this is PERFECT for anyone and everyone who promotes ANYTHING that lets people make more money now , maybe the big fish selling the multiple thousand $ programs might not read this the same way, but if you have a program or business that is affordable to the masses - this is the perfect time to recruit the whole world

this is from my local tv news station, stating how more jobs must be cut

so if everyone wants to help - go out and find some new friends and business partners - take them by the hand - change the world by changing your own backyard first

So I am starting something new here...

Posted on Dec 3rd, 2008 by The Doug : No need for titles - we're all ONE The Doug

I have found about 3 different really good marketing sytems for my major online companies I'm with, I'm really just trying to find the best combination of stuff to market.

so far, I absolutely am filled with unlimited love for VP, and I think it's just simple enough for the "everyman" (or "everywoman") to bite off a slice of.

I was (and technically am still) is SWS, but i found it mainly relies on what are called "capture pages", and personally, I despise capture pages. Anyone love getting spam everyday? I don't either - it stinks - and yet that's what people think of when they see capture pages, so I think unconsciously I am preventing my success with SWS - maybe later down the road??

I just joined up with the IT, and am currently reviewing all their nifty member website stuff, but those guys are with like a zillion different companies, and do I really want all that? Doubt it...so I'm using the team's FF splash and info page, see what that does...not really promoting the team - if somebody asks, great! If not - who cares?

So far, VP is far and away the winner, and am very happy with it, but who knows where the Tao will take me tomorrow, you know?

I'm impatient, yet "patience" doesn't even exist, soooo.....

Posted on Jun 14th, 2008 by The Doug : No need for titles - we're all ONE The Doug

I still seem to be stuck in 'time', you know?? I fully realize that time literally doesn't even exist - "No experiment has ever been done that proves the existence of time" - but I still feel the effects, baby!

It's the old Taoist sage in me sneaking up - do I "let go" and not have any desires, or use the desires as the path to where I'm going - or both?

do I completely free myself of the concept of time, and just let everything happen naturally, or do I "continually contemplate myself as surrounded by the conditions I want to produce".

Or do I just love everyone and everything as much as I can, and not bother so much...???

(and I'd like to take a moment and invite anyone reading this to Powerful Intentions . It's a very cool little world we have over there...)

Peace.

This is my "state of the union"...

Posted on Jun 7th, 2008 by The Doug : No need for titles - we're all ONE The Doug

My primary question is - Let Go or Visualize.  Silly question, isn't it? But it's so damn important to me, somehow.

I was born a Taoist, I'm gonna die a Taoist, so the idea of "letting go" is primary in my life. And thanks to G.I. Gurdjieff, and Eckhart Tolle, and others, I have many tools to help me do that.

But then along comes "Abraham"...what to make of Abraham-Hicks and the Law of Attraction (and you could even throw the Secret in there too). Here's a philosophy that says "I'm in charge"...but doesn't really mesh with the whole letting go thing...

Can I have both? If there are truly "no rules" in life - why can't i have Both??? Why can't I totally let go, every minute, every breath, trusting the Universe to put me where I need to be AND pick & choose what I want?

Does it work like that?? Can I be both Taoist AND a Deliberate Creator at the same time? With the same breath?

???????

-D.

Anyone reading this live in Maui?

Posted on May 31st, 2008 by The Doug : No need for titles - we're all ONE The Doug

Specifically, I'm looking to make some friends in Pa'ia or thereabouts...

I plan on moving there real soon, because this business of mine can't be stopped.

Anyone living out there, if you want, just drop a line, I'd love to chat about the neighborhoods of Pa'ia, and see if they are rebuilding Charlie's yet.

When the top 3 teams in ITG cycle - things will happen fast - we're talking around $24,000 worth of spillover to our team - so get in now, surf it until you've made all the money you want.

Peace.

Just a little Abraham love.

Posted on May 28th, 2008 by The Doug : No need for titles - we're all ONE The Doug

Just a little kick in the rear from Abraham...

Daily Quote, 5-28-08 from Abraham-Hicks.com

"Just love everybody that interacts with you no matter how personally, or how peripherally, involved with you they are. The efficiency of the people who deal with you... everything is orchestrated by the manager called Law of Attraction. And your vibration is setting all of it into motion. Everything affecting you is a reflection of the vibration that you are emitting. Spend more time focused upon your dream than upon the reality. The reality gives birth to the dream -- but the dream is where you are wanting to put your attention."

Excerpted from a workshop in Houston, TX on Saturday, January 13th, 2001

All Is Well

The thing is, I just started out on this crazy thing called "Ho'oponopono", but I've been wondering if it sort of "clashed" with my dear friend Abraham's philosophy - but today in my email inbox I received the above quote - ahhhhhhh, all's well in DougLand once again....

Peace,

Doug

OK, so here's the deal with FREEDOM...

Posted on May 23rd, 2008 by The Doug : No need for titles - we're all ONE The Doug

OK, so here's the deal with FREEDOM....

As long as I can remember, I HATED other people telling me what to do.

This seems such a simple thing - why doesn't everyone feel the same way? Or do they, and just don't show it??

I remember reading this little pamphlet I got in the mail back in 1993 (The Bronze Age??) - describing this guy in California (prob. a made up story) who worked for himself, and was FREE..

But instead of listening to my heart at that stage, I listened to 'other people', which is remarkably similar to what the state of death is like, I assume....

So I struggled and battled with the urge to be FREE at such an early stage, but never could live with myself when "in a job" and having to do what other people tell me to do..

I mean seriously - other people told me 1) when to wake up, 2) what clothes to wear, 3) where I would spend the majority of the day, 4) what I would do that day, 5) how I was allowed to act that day, 6) when I could eat lunch!! 7) how long I could eat lunch, 8) WHAT I COULD EAT FOR LUNCH!!!!) , 8) when I could go home for the day and play with my friends.

Oh, and i was rewarded for doing what I was told with "steady pay" and "job security".....

AND THIS IS HOW THE MAJORITY OF HUMANS ON THIS PLANET SPEND THEIR DAYS.

AND THIS IS WHAT THE MAJORITY OF HUMANS ON THIS PLANET CALL "NORMAL"

AND IF YOU LIVE DIFFERENTLY, THE MAJORITY OF HUMANS ON THIS PLANET LABEL YOU AS "BAD" OR "WRONG".

Phew...what a world...

Good thing I'm a-changin' it.... :)

Peace out,

Doug
